Kids WB's new Fall Schedule!
Kids WB has unveiled its new Saturday morning and weekday schedule for fall 2005-2006! There will be new shows like Loonatics, Johnny Test, and Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island. They will also have new seasons of old shows like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Xiaolin Showdown, and The Batman. I also heard they will have a new show called Pokemon Chronicles. This show will be about the adventures of Ash's friends, while he is away in Hoenn. Loonatics will be about the Looney Tunes in a futuristic time period. It is rumored to be anime style. Pokemon will be back with season 8, and Yu-gi-Oh will also be back with season 5. Xiaolin Showdown will have the famed monks with Chudai Powers. The new weekday lineup will include the following shows: Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Xiaolin Showdown, and The Batman. I will try to find out more about the two brand new series.

Who likes Nicktoons TV? For those who don't know about Nicktoons TV, it is a great channel from Nickelodeon that offers nothing, but Nicktoons all day long. It released on May 1, 2002 on a Wednesday. They show classics like Ren and Stimpy, Doug, Rugrats, AAAH! Real Monsters, etc. Plus, they also show the current shows like Spongebob Squarepants, The Fairly Oddparents, As Told by Ginger, The Wild Thornberries, etc. All of these are mixed with Warner Bros. classics like Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Pinky and the Brain, etc. Anyway, the good news is that now you can get Nicktoons TV in Dish's America Top 180 package with no extra charge at all! Now, Dish subscribers can finally enjoy Nicktoons TV, 24/7! They're not just cartoons, they're Nicktoons!!

An Eighth Grader's perspective on Satellite TV from Dish Network
How does Dish Network influence an eighth grader like me? To me, Dish is a wonderful gift (was my christmas gift this year). With it's varying features, I really don't miss out on anything. Below are a few of my personal experiences with Dish. In the recent past, I was looking forward to watching 'The Incredibles'. My computer was down and I didn't feel like calling. So I used the theater tracking device on Dish Network's interactive menu and got the showtimes to the movie. Another very very cool feature is the DishDVR. It records all of my favorite shows and I never miss out on the action. I just set the time and let the DishDVR do the rest. Dish also has great channels that keep me up to date on all the current events. As the whole world is aware of the tsunami disaster, I got up to the minute news and detailed information from trustworthy channels like CNN and Discovery. In fact there was an exciting program (The Next Wave: Science of Tsunamis) recently about the scientific explanations of tsunamis on Discovery channel. Watching this I got more insight into the workings of this nature's horrific disaster. We have a cool website about getting Satellite TV from Dish Network - if you are interested check it out.
